Mag kasama na tayo.
Kasama is Claremont Colleges’ Filipinx Student Association. Our members come from Pomona, Pitzer, Scripps, Harvey Mudd, and Claremont McKenna. We intersect the cultural, political, and social aspects of the Filipinx identity.

The Three Pillars of Kasama
As an affinity group, we are committed in upholding and honoring the Filipinx heritage. We welcome all Filipino/a/x students from across the world and backgrounds. Our aim is to create a cohesive Filipinx community in the Claremont Colleges as we are stronger together.

Cultural and Social Events
Claremont Kasama is known for its vibrant and inclusive community events that celebrated Filipino culture and fostered camaraderie among our students. These events provided opportunities for relaxation, cultural exchange, and bonding outside of the more formal activist activities.
Abutin ang mga bituin nang magkasama.
The mission of the Kasama Filipinx/American Student Association is to foster awareness, connection, and recognition of Filipinx and Filipinx-American identity within and around the Claremont Colleges through cultural, social, and outreach events. Kasama strives to provide Filipinx students with social belonging and cultivate critical consciousness within our student body as we grapple with our long and complex histories as Filipinx people living in diaspora. We are dedicated to uplifting our community on and off campus by hosting educational events, building reciprocity with off-campus community organizations, and celebrating our culture with one another and other students.
